Happy new year and welcome to our new website!
Can you believe we are already over halfway through January? And RISE is officially 1 week old!
The last few weeks of 2020 passed in a blur, Nathan and I did so many hours in the run up to Christmas we lost count!
Finally it was Christmas eve, all the bakes went to plan, our wholesalers received their final bakes early in the morning and then we set back to it, to finish all the bakes for you; our doorstep customers.
What we didn't realise is just how long it takes to pack nearly 100 orders!
Fortunately, we had called in the reserves in the form of our Saturday delivery driver Mike and my husband Sam. They made short work of all the washing up, packing and sorting, which meant we could get Mike and Nathan out the door and delivering to you.
We loved seeing the pictures of you having your croissants on Christmas day and from the looks of it even Santa got to sample some of our crumble topped mince pies!
After a couple of weeks off, catching up on our beauty sleep and spending some reflective time with our families, Nathan and I had a slow start to 2021, easing ourselves back into the swing of things by starting our wholesale orders in the week before opening the online shop.
You might have noticed our page was "proving" whilst we updated it with our new name, logo and reorganised our products in the shop. For those of you as returning customers, "Welcome back!" hopefully it doesn't feel too different. To all our new followers "Welcome to RISE!" have a look around and see what takes your fancy.
There are a few new things, we have introduced a Tuesday delivery slot for bread, doughnuts and brownies. You can now also get our legendary 'Cruffins' on a Wednesday, along with our usual bread and now cookies too!
The names of our bread have changed slightly to make them more recognisable (and maybe one day when we have a brick and mortar shop you can ask for them by name!)
We will be keeping our seasonal special rotation, lots of you have said how much you look forward to trying our new flavour combinations and eating with the season is something both Nathan and I are passionate about.
