After months of planning, our move seemed to happen very quickly! Suddenly the floor was down, the 3 phase electricity put in and the walls scrubbed and repainted. It took a lot of time and effort on Nathan's part, to clear out the previous kitchen and to sort all of our own stuff into a space several times larger than our old one. We are so excited to announce that our move to our new bakery is finally here! Months in the planning and days in the scrubbing and painting. We will finally have more space to make our bread for YOU, the people of Reading. Saturday 27th February will be our first bake in our new space and to ease us in, we will be running a reduced bread and pastry delivery service. Exciting news! Work is under way this week at our new bakery in Central Reading, the plumber is in to install the sinks and new flooring going down in the wash and mix rooms. A larger space means we can up our bread and pastry capacity for weekend deliveries and introduce new items to the menu too! We can't wait to bring REAL bread to more people in Reading! Happy new year and welcome to our new website! Can you believe we are already over halfway through January? And RISE is officially 1 week old! The last few weeks of 2020 passed in a blur, Nathan and I did so many hours in the run up to Christmas we lost count!
