Happy New Year 🎉 we are back baking after a short break and open our usual hours 9am to 2pm Wednesday to Saturday. Lots of new and exciting things in the planning stages which we will be releasing over the next couple of weeks. Happy New Year to all our customer new and old! We've had a lovely winter break with our families and are ready and raring to go, reopening on Wednesday 18th January. You may notice our team is much smaller than before Christmas, we have made the difficult decision to restructure; reducing our wholesale offering and focusing more on our own shop window. This means we have stopped supplying some of our long standing stockists outside of Reading and have reduced our staffing levels in line with the lower number of items required each day. And just like that, we are nearly at Christmas! Our festive specials have hit the counter and the online shop, our fridges are full of additional ingredients and homemade fillings and we are getting ready for our biggest bake of the year, Christmas eve eve! We will then be taking an extended 3 week break, returning to business as usual in time for Wednesday 18th Jan, where online ordering and our shop window will be reopened. Winter Update - important changes to delivery and subscription

The clocks have gone back and winter is here! We've certainly noticed the nights drawing in here at the bakery, often getting to the bakery whilst its dark and leaving in the dark too! Its also colder, meaning we've had to alter our bread making process slightly to ensure our bread mixes are ready to be shaped and baked on time.
