Festive canapes and bakes

A half day workshop extending your range of bakes and canapes to celebrate the festive season.

Throughout the workshop you will make some festive staples, whilst also learning how to add unique twists which will impress guests.

By the end you will have made a range of  canapes and bakes, including:
  • Smoked salmon and horseradish on a beetroot rosti
  • Turkey, pine nut filo parcels with beetroot mayo
  • Turmeric infused tartlets with creamy chicken Korma
  • Date and Gorgonzola wrapped in pancetta
  • Chocolate ganache mini tartlet
  • Salted almond butter mini chocolate mini bars
  • Mini meringues with mixed berries
  • Mince pies
  • Focacia

No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of the baking team!

Drinks and snacks will be provided.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with tried and tested recipes, the bakes you have made and some festive basics that you can freeze to use over the festive season. Please bring with you airtight containers to transport your items home.

The course will be run by Nathan the founder of Rise Bakehouse, so you will be able to draw on their knowledge, experience and passion for all things baked both as home and professional baker.
