A one day workshop for bakers with some experience of sourdough baking who want to develop their craft and expand their repertoire of recipes at the Rise Bakehouse Bakery.
Throughout the day you will learn about the different processes and techniques, from using different flours and additions, how to mix, shape, prove and develop your own recipes.
By the end of the day, you will have made a range of breads including:
Rise Bakehouse Sourdough classic loaves - white, wholemeal and seeded
Addition loaves such as potato and Rosemary.
French and German Rye loaves
Whey Sourdough and Italian Panmarino
To get the most from the workshop you will need to be confident shaping dough and understand the fundamentals of bread making.
Drinks, snacks and lunch will be provided.
At the end of the day, you will leave with tried and tested recipes that you have used throughout the day, bread you have made and as part of the Rise Bakehouse Team!
The course will be run by the founders of Rise Bakehouse, so throughout the day you will be able to draw on their knowledge, experience and passion for bread making both as home and professional bakers.
